Our Mission
RCSN helps create bright futures for children and youth with any disability in all boroughs of New York City. We are here to walk with families through transitions and challenges in school, at home, and in the community, from early childhood to life after high school.
-
What RCSN Does
We provide free workshops for parents at schools, community agencies, and houses of worship throughout the city, on topics from special education to positive behaviors. We train professionals to work more effectively with children and youth with disabilities and their families. And we provide free, on-on-one direct assistance to families and professionals, on the phone and in person. Call us, we are here to help!

Our Legacy
Since 1983, RCSN has helped New Yorkers find the information and support they need to negotiate complex systems. When parents have high expectations and are equal partners with schools, professionals, and service providers, young people with a wide range of disabilities can have futures of independence, contribution, and full participation.
