Details:
The Inclusion Peer Network, hosted by RCSN and Ramapo for Children, is a professional development community for seasoned and emerging leaders in organizations committed to including all children.
The focus of these sessions is for out-of-school time professionals to come together to learn and share best practices for the intake process. All participants are asked to bring the current intake used for their program, as the basis for discussion and practical application of best practice.
The intake process is an opportunity to become collaborators with the parents in helping their child to thrive in your program. Asking the right questions can often give you the needed information to avert unforeseen difficulties, while helping you learn about the child’s abilities and strengths, as well as his/her special needs. In this session, you will share ideas, learn what questions to ask, and improve the effectiveness of your current intake process.
To register, contact Denise Pierce or Cristina Harris at Ramapo for Children @ 212-754-7003.
